It’s a time of wonderment and excitement. When the world is a curious thing and every thing is new. Dry leaves are amazing, wet ground is fun, and the world is your playground!
Wesley turned one a few weeks ago. We took some portraits in Washington Park to celebrate this milestone. Just as any other one year old that’s a whiz at walking, Wesley sure was hard to keep up with. (He learned how to play this super fun game…it’s called “Let’s run and make Mommy chase me!”) But since he’s so cute, you can forgive him. Happy 1st Birthday, Wesley!

I had an amazing shoot this weekend with Dion. One of my new photo buddies, Jenilee, invited me along on the shoot to give tips on composition and lighting. Jenilee is going to be an amazing photographer. She picks up on everything really quickly and is always looking to push herself a little bit further. And I have nothing but nice things to say about Dion as well! He was an awesome model, listening to our directions of “Stand like this, turn your head a bit, give a smile…now one without a smile”. Somehow, with my amazing partners, we were able to capture urban portraits in Laramie, WY. Take a look:

Marta came to me because she lost 70 pounds (by eating healthy and exercising..way to go Marta!) It’s a fantastic accomplishment that took a lot of hard work and dedication. What better way to celebrate than to have beautiful portraits taken to cherish for years to come? So, we set off to the beach…and here’s the results! I’m very pleased, and I think Marta looks absolutely gorgeous!
